My oldest astro equipment still in use may be the 7x35 (11° ultrawide) Embassy binoculars (1970-1980?), followed by the recently acquired Carl Zeiss Jena 7x35W and 10x50W (1987, 1988) binoculars.

I have also a collection of the 19th century small refractors, including the crown jewel made and signed by Plössl, Kleines Hand-Teleskop von "Plößl in Wien" .

I worked as a telescope operator for the Telescopes In Education Foundation at Mount Wilson Observatory from 2002 to 2004. I operated the 24 inch telescope there for no pay. After NASA terminated funding for the TIE program, the assets (the 24 inch telescope, CCD cameras, etc. were given by NASA and CalTech over to the TIE foundation. Then the TIE Foundation gave me the Helios telescope as they had acquired newer narrower bandwidth H-alpha solar telescopes.

My Fullerscope 220mm x 1.6 metres, early 1980s with a heavy steel mk 3 eq mount. Mirror was serviced last year, fantastic scope, it's just a pleasure to use :-)

My oldest piece of gear that is regularly used is a pair of K Mart 7x35 binoculars I got in 1979 followed by a Meade 2045 LX3 SCT I got in 1987. Both items are in frequent use.

The oldest piece of equipment I have is an old pair of Tasco binoculars that I got when I was in high school. So they are probably about 15 years old or so.
