    Default Tonights treats out there.



    Hi all,

    Well the skies are clear out there tonight and the frost is forming on everything.
    Attached the Camera mount onto the scope for a few pics.

    I managed the giant Jupiter out there and 3 of her Moons - Io, Europa and Ganymede.
    Here,s a look.

    I also managed the waning Moon out there below Jupiter in the East.

    Hi Genty,

    Thanks for the reply!
    Proper cold out there is right, the Dob was covered in white frost as i put it back into the cabin out there!!

    Jupiter was displaying well to the eye through the 25mm with the 2x barlow earlier as she rose in the sky,
    not so clear out there now as the clouds are rolling in from the East, only the Moon visible out there now.

    damn, have the scope set up and ready for orion to finally clear my house roof. was hoping to catch a couple of images.
