    I honestly don't know since I'm not that familiar with the sign itself. Sorry...

    Thanks very much Richard, if it's not cloudy I'll try to catch a picture of that.
    I was just wondering is Mercury visible soon?

    Amazing, it looks something like this.
    Appeared at 3am Sept 12th 2001 {night of 9-11}
    Jupiter passed thru the mouth of the cresent moon.

    My question is?
    Will Venus do this ?

    I'm sorry Startrooper, but I've removed the image, as it has religious significance, and when use in conjunction with reference to 9-11, would likely be seen as inflammatory.
    Please refrain from religious references in future.
    And FYI - It was Jupiter which was in close proximity to the Moon on that date - not Venus.

    The Moon actually occulted Jupiter (passed in front of it)
    Jupiter did not pass through the mouth of the crescent, but would have appeared just in front of the mouth of the crescent, then moved away from it. The Moon occulted Jupiter, bright hemispehere first, on that night.

    Oh - and the Moon won't occult Venus on 28th Feb - 1st March - it will miss by about a Moon's width.
