In case you haven't read this post before:.

I must say I have no affiliation with The Globe at Night project but admiration to their genuine cause: evaluating light pollution at individual levels throughout the world. It's people's science at its best!

So I thought of leaving here a reminder to this important project - specially to us in the Southern Hemisphere to start contributing (more than on previous years) from tomorrow, March 24 till April 6. You folks up North still have until April 4 to leave your "legacy", so to speak.

Hopefully we'll build up a very precise database of light pollution levels all over the world in the coming years!

Who knows, someday it may become a very useful tool to us amateur astronomers, scientist and government authorities alike.
