Hi everyone, I'm from Chicago and don't know much about telescopes, but willing to learn. Although, I was always attracted by cosmos.
Hope you'll help me to understand how to read it.

    Thx,
    Gor

    Hi Gor,

Welcome to the Astronomy Forum. One excellent place to start is your local public library. Visit them, grab some books, and start reading. When you have a question, drop us a line on the Astronomy Beginers Forum. One good book to start out with is "The Back Yard Astronomer" Hopefully your library will have it or can get one on a library loan for you. BTW, its also a good book to buy and keep for your personal library.
