How do you get 100 miles from the bright Hong Kong lights. Do you have to go to mainland China? Actually getting 20 miles from the light envelope helps as it puts them below the horizon, although they still reflect on clouds or moisture in the atmosphere and cause problems.

    Hello. TambourineMan

I begin my Meade 8" F/4 to the Lantau island (Water mouth estate), it is 10-20 miles far away from Hong Kong Island.

Yes, I have to go to mainland. (Do you have to go to mainland China?)
