Smile California Mosaic Imaged! And a reintroduction.

    Hi All,

I’m Thomas Christian but go by my Alias AstroEd. I wanted to reintroduce myself and say hi!

I’ve wanted to image the California nebula for what seems like forever!

However my FOV isn’t wide enough with my setup 😞

So I decided to construct a mosaic, never have before, but wow, what a painstaking process! Atleast how I did it...

Here is my video journey of capturing this mosaic, let me know what you think! The video was shot with a sony a6400 and so were the time lapses. Check my YouTube video out below of my journey that night.

Is there a process to making a mosaic easily? I kinda winged it...

    Thanks.
