    Dennis Tuckerman - Sheffield UK

Although supposed to be retired I still have done a number of 'Soundscapes' to accompany the work of a Japanese Artist, Seiko Kinoshita - latest in Belper, Derby Silk Mill, Sheffield and Blackburn Art Museum. I have my own cellar ProTools Recording Studio.

Ordinary Member of The London Mathematical Society (2016), Diploma in Management (1996 Henley MBA), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL 1995 - first ever student to earn a distinction and then appointed as An External Examiner (1996) for The Information Systems Examination Board (now part of The British Computer Society)), Life Fellow of The Institution of Analysts & Programmers (1986),B.Sc. Pure Mathematics + 1 year Computer Science (using PASCAL, BASIC & ASSEMBLY LANGUAGE (1984 - Wolverhampton University), King's College University Newcastle upon Tyne (1966 - 1970) - Mechanical Engineering & Engineering & Arts Studies (including Contract Law, Economic Geography, Psychology).

Blues Session Guitarist plus various different bands over last 35+ years.
I give a home to (rather than collect) vintage wristwatches (especially Bulova Accutrons), programmable calculators (from 70s onwards - I have an HP-41CX, HP-15C, TI-59s, TI-95 Procalc (all working) with their corresponding accessories like printers, card readers, Sharp PC-1500A etc) which I program alongside vintage books like 'Astronomy with your Programmable Pocket Calculator'.

35+ years working in IT - I still like to design my own Observing Form/Database (I use Tapforms on my iPad and Libre office Base on my MacBook), although I have to admit that SkySafari 6 Plus is a pretty awesome app.

    Hello Dennis! An excellent introduction!

Due to a terrible and ongoing spammer problem here on this forum and no admin support, the bulk of the active membership have moved here: https://www.theskysearchers.com/

    Hope to see you there!
