Welcome to AF its a great scope and very portable , I still have a 90 Meade ETX which I use in Prague when I go there, great for planets double stars and clusters as you can see from my signature I have attached a C5 SCT on the SLT mount works well and becomes it a bit more versatile , I have also used that mount on a 80mm refractor WO 80 ed scope which also worked well , so the SLT is a great little mount not ideal for AP but one can do short exposures which can give ok results

Welcome to the forum Mick! I’m also new here and am based in Northampton so heading East seems to be my best bet for clear, dark skies. Maybe we'll get a chance to meet at some event or other?

    Enjoy the new hobby!
