Default Just picked up a new scope for the grandkids when they come over.

Not new to telescopes but just picked up a Meade StarNavigator for my grandkids to use when they come to Grandpa's house. Thought I would check into the forums to see what others have to say about it.

    Welcome to the forum!

Which scope did you get? There are several different ones that come on the StarNavigator mount. They are generally fairly good starter scopes.

Do you have a decent pair of binoculars? These are an invaluable tool, will show you a LOT, are generally easy for children to use as they are more comfortable, and are VERY useful when learning the night skies.

Hi Corpsman. Thank you for your service. And, I am glad that you are working with the grand kids to get them interested in astronomy. A big welcome to the forum Corpsman, and the very best of wishes to you, and also to your family.
