    No laughing....nah, laugh away. I don't care if I put a grin on someone's face.
    First you should line up the finderscope and then point it to whatever you see in the sky with your naked eye. The moon is a obvious candidate, and then go to the brightest stars you see. Download Stellarium (or something equal). It's free on PC and you can search for the bright planets, bright Messier objects. 1 warning, do NOT look at the sun unless you like the smell of burning eyeballs.
    Do be realistic, it's a small telescope so the faint fuzzy will be hard to find but for 10$; it's a steal.

    I still have the "binoculars" that I made from toilet roll inners and gave to my grandad so he could "see things". Cardboard is a universal telescope for all.
