    Welcome to the forum Jeff , when the sun shines in RSA during the day its almost rain at nights here , I hardly use my scopes in summer here , winter May to September is my time here but there are a few days when its ok but being spoiled during the clear winters I hardly do

Take care of yourself and get healthy (even though a new scope is a great incentive for a long stay at the eyepiece) before trying too many extended viewing sessions. Please give us some details about your new scope, and let us know how your first light went as soon as you have a chance to post a report
