    Default Portable Observatory

We just got a used Astro-Gazer portable observatory for use with my 16" Tectron Dobsonian and a 12" Skywatcher collapsible here in North Florida. Any experience, advise or wisdom to share on the care and feeding of our new toy?

Hi Ed and welcome to the forum! The OBS is very cool. It also looks pretty well made and could be used as a semi permanent setup from late spring to early winter in my region. One of our members, Lou Ann Peet, is thinking permanent pier/viewing pad setup and this could be just the ticket for weather protection.

Thanks for sharing your OBS Ed, and welcome to the forum! I like that AstroGazer. I'm going to take a serious look at it further. I experienced my first light ever a week ago. The next step is a personal OBS, correct?
