    Default Complete complete newbie

    Hi All,
Every year when I watch Stargazer Live on the BBC I find myself wishing I had a telescope.
This year, completely out of the blue my wife bought me a Celestron Astromaster 114EQ for christmas and I cant remember when I have ben more excited.

After a frustrating few hours watching youtube videos on how to set it up I managed to get a few hours viewing time in last night and managed to take the photo below with my iphone through the lens. (hope this works, Im not sure that I uploaded it correctly)

    IMG_2478.JPG

I am now in complete absorption mode and am reading and viewing everything and anything I can get my hands on.

    Just wanted to say hi

    Ian
