Hello to you!
I am not new to stargazing having spent many a fond hour looking at the skies however now after a recent change of circumstances I have decided to take this forward a little and get more serious into something that has held my attention for so long!
I have no equipment other than the standard MK1 Human eyeball and my wits. I can identify the basic constellations due to a decent education in scouting and am interested in all aspects of the cosmos local and beyond!
Thanks for reading my brief intro and here is to a valuable resource for me and some light entertainment for you!

Cheers everyone for the warm welcome. Have any of the guys in the higher lattitudes in the UK get any aurora views last night? I cracked that nut and was chuffed to observe a Meteor and subject to discussion with the local BBC weatherlady my first possible Meteorite obs. All in all I had a good night!
Clear skies to the lot of you too!
