hi and welcome to the forums.
clear skies,
My name is Jerry. I live in Central Florida on the Atlantic. In the past few months my wife and I have taken to sitting in the yard, in some lounge chairs looking at the sky on clear nights. We like to see satellites. We got a sky map for out ipads and identify stars and constellations. This has become out regular thing every clear night. The other day it came to us that we should get a telescope! Not wanting to break the bank, and not knowing if we will keep with it, we decided on a Meade ETX 80AT Backpack model. We should have it in about a week. We are really excited.
Thinking about it, I just dug into my desk drawer, and found my Logitech Pro 9000 2MP webcam, hmmmm any way to get this onto the Meade???? just an idea.
I am sure I will have lots of quesitons, and hopefully some reports and photos coming.

Welcome to the Forum Jerry!
First thing I would do is focus on getting accustomed to the new telescope!
Once you are ready to explore the camera you will find many eager members here willing to help out! You can use the Forum search tool in upper right corner to explore previous threads about using and modifying a webcam.
Clear Skies and Enjoy the new scope!
