Default Hi I'm Jon and Love Astronomy

I'm a writer and publisher living in Northern Virginia. I fell in love with astronomy as a kid and have loved it ever since. I've been to every planetarium show within driving distance, and others far away. In 2009 I bought my first "grown up" telescope, a Celestron NexStar 8SE and have spent many a night getting wet with dew while marking off sky objects and enjoying the rings, the many moons, and our own Luna. (I'm currently trying to sell the scope and plan to post a classified.) I participate in the Shenandoah County (VA) Parks and Rec astronomy club events in the park, and often visit the JPL and NASA sites to gawk at their stellar photography. I'm glad to be a part of Astronomy Forums!

Hi Jon, welcome to AF. Are you going to buy another scope when you sell the Celestron?
