Welcome to the Astronomy Forum and thanks a bunch for joining. Congratulations on building your own scope.
Based near Guildford Surrey and a newcomer to Astronomy although I've had a longstanding interest. I finished making a 6" Dobsonian telescope in March this year and have been having a lot of pleasure discovering the night sky. I am sorely tempted to try astrophotography next but that probably means moving into a commercial scope.

No beast so fierce but knows some touch of pity. But I know none, and therefore am no beast.
Welcome to the Forum! Congratulations on building your own scope! You are probably right about a commercial scope for Astrophotography.
