Hi, Welcome to the Astronomy Forum. That's two nice telescopes you have.
Hi,
New member from New Hampshire, USA.
I always wanted a telescope as a kid but never was able to get one. Too bad, I grew up out in the sticks in northern Idaho and at night you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. You could reach out and touch the Milky Way. Nice view with binoculars though.
I finally got my first scope last fall an Orion XT8 Dob and then picked up a Celestron C8 SCT XLT. Didn't realize how cloudy New Hampshire is prior to getting a scope......
Joined the local astonomy club a few months ago and that was probably the best move that I have made so far. What a wealth of information!
anyhow looking forward to hearing from everybody
Pat
