Hi
My name is Fritz van der Merwe and I live in South Africa.
Although I'm not new to astronomy, I just recently bought my own telescope. I hope to get some good advice on telescopes, astronomy in general and astrophotography, which I want to make my hobby when I retire soon.

Fritz I'm also a new member and I urge you to read through these threads as there are some real gems. One that I've found introduced me to Stellarium. The downloads are available free and it's got me hooked.
