cleare skies,
Hello all - I have been interested in Astronomy since I was a kid but got more into it really for the last 15 years or so (off and on). Skies where I live are horribly light polluted but I do get out now and then, and sometimes out of the city to much more beautiful views. I do mostly planetary/moon observations (due to the issue mentioned above) and some of the brighter objects. I do try to keep up with the latest astronomical science news and have been a reader of Sky & Telescope for many years. Anyway I'm looking to get myself back into actually observing and doing some low cost imaging, and thought this forum looked like a good start. I have done some basic astrophotography with a film slr, and some really basic moon shots using a digital camera held up to the eyepiece of my telescope. Anyway this area holds my interest so I would like to pursue it a bit more in depth.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.![]()
