    Default Good morning

New member here. I've been using this site for a few days doing research towards my new scope. Been interested in getting a scope for several years and now that my last child has graduated from college figured it was time. Not to mention the increase of available monies.

About a month ago I received a Bushnell Voyager 70mm refractor from the company I work for in recognition of my 25 years. Even though it's a toy still way better than a watch. Took about 2 days before I was really hooked and looking to upgrade.

I have managed to find Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, M42 and of course the moon. Wow! If they look that impressive through this scope can't wait until the Celestron 127 SCT gets here.

Have seen discussions on the "new scope cloudy day" syndrome. Guess I am taking it to a whole other level. I am in the Dallas area and my scope can't even get to me due to winter weather. Oh well patience is a virtue right

Welcome to the forums...Maybe, just maybe you will get all the cloudy days over with before it arrives, and can get right to fun.
