    hi there peeps. thought i'd join in here,i've had a meade etx70 for a few years,not had it out fot some time,but got meself a little camera today so i'm gonna try some astrophotography!if i can figure out how to work the camera anyway,has anyone used the small etx70 for photo's? and can anyone tell me what to expect from it,(cam is a fuji finepix s5000)mainly want some pics of the moon and planets,lovely dark skies here in wales so i'm looking forward to freezing me n**s off.
    i've re-ignited my interest in the vast cosmos so will probably have loads of interesting(dull) questions for y'all

    thanks for the wecome:-) unfortunately i can't attach my camera to my scope as it doesn't have a removable lens. but i've noticed theres a bit of d.i.y. dabbling goes on with the scopes,so i'll have a read and see if can figure a way to do this myself! a trip to the plumbers merchants me thinks,has anyone done this?

    got some normal pics of moon last night,twas a really strange colour! will wrap up warmer tonight though...got a scarf for crimbo

    Hi and welcome to our forums. There are some adapters that can be used to attach point and shoot ( ok the finepix aint a p n s ) cameras to the eyepiece. if your are handy with DIY you could probs make something . Be interested to see the outcome.
