    Hello and welcome.

PLate OPtimizer, or PLOP is a CAD program used by amateur telescope makers to design primary mirror support cells for reflecting telescopes. It was developed by telescope maker David Lewis, first described in 1999,[1] and used to simplify calculations needed in the design of mirror support cells.[2] It was based on Toshimi Taki's 1993 program PLATE[3], however provides a simplified user interface, thus giving it wide acceptance among makers of large Dobsonian style amateur telescopes, with good support of mirrors as thin as two inches for a diameter of thirty inches.[4]

Thank you all for your interest...."Um" however the answer is a little embarassing...I left a inch measurement in along with the metric inputs along with not opening a few windows in the plop program...I have it all solved now! The end product has all the dementions figured out! I did it years ago all with geometry and 'plop' and was very close so I knew the answers where way out in left field!
I do enjoy making my own telescopes as much as using them...and in this case...very humbling...it echoes my statement about constructing them extends my skills!
