    Default Good to be back

Although not a newbie to astronomy I've been away for about 15 years and a lot has changed. I now have 3 grandsons between 9 and 12 years old and I'm looking forward to shareing this wonderful hobby with them. Who knows, I may even try my hand at CCD Atro imageing.

Welcome back. I have a 10 and 7 year old. Astronomy is a great hobby to share with kids. You can always play the "it's for the kids" card as well when buying cool astro toys.
