Ychen - I've got a feeling, a BIG FEELING that you're taking a lend of us.
Stop asking so many questions - they're meaningless now - buy a little scope have a look and get back to us if you have a problem looking through it

I'd contend if you seriously get the astronomy bug (and you're the one willing to set up that scope up every time you use it), that the scope is going with you anywhere you end up. I imagine if you've serve as the impetus to this hobby, you will be the most proactive of your clan.

And if someone else in the family gets just as excited as you, there will be multiple scopes in the future!

What does "taking a lend of us" mean? I'm sorry if i seem annoying now, I just don't want to make the mistakes that I've been warned about. And what do you mean by a little scope? like 2"?

Hi Ychen. Welcome to our forums. I almost lost the will to live , reading throufgh all these posts my friend. You have been given really good advice throughout . Please remember that we have to crawl first then stand ( and fall down , a lot ) before we can walk . You are wanting to run . Not good my friend. Google ( image ) is your friend , you can probs see examples of images there by scopes you talked about, and there were many . Decide on a scope that is affordable to your family. Get it with a mount. Learn to use it properly and learn the skies above.

After a period of time , if the desire is still with you , then you can see about expanding your new found hobby.

At the moment you are running around in circles going nowhere fast ! Make a decision on a scope, get it , use it get, back to us , you have more than enough information to assist in that decision .

    Clear Skies

    Pete

I remember once a long time ago when I was about 20 or so and my friend's child was seeking attention (not from me I hasten to add).
    Why?
    So what if?
    and then?
In the end whomever it was got a bit irate at being pestered and told the child to ask someone else - the child wold pout and look through it's eyelashes and realise they'd been sprung.
Then they'd move on to the next person.
They never moved on to me. Because I only gave them the same information as often as they asked a question. So they got to realise that I was not a good touch.
Over the years, I've noticed a lot of men use this to inveigle a woman to mother them. Or another male to adopt them.
Then they reduce you to their level by asking idiotic questions and beat you with experience.

Taking a lend. Well if you don't understand the inference, you won't like astronomy.
