    Default Hello from Melbourne

G'day all, I'm Sab from Melbourne AUstralia. I own 5 scopes, 10" and 12" dobs, a 5" Mak, a 4.5" Newt and a 120ST refractor. The 12" dob get 99% of use... so eventually I plan to cull the collection to just the big dob and a grab n go! My interests include deepsky observing and hating the yuck weather here.... haven't observed since June!

Hi Sab welcome to the forum,

    great collection of scopes!

The weather has been awful here as well, but the past few days have been great - figures I had an exam (just finished have a few more but will be done soon!).

Are you outside Melb or in the city? Great city by the way, I liked it a lot.

Thanks! I'm in the outer SE suburbs, very fast growing area but I'm actually happy with my sky darkness considering the suburbia around here. I remember going to a friends place down near Frankston, and I couldn't believe his sky...it was bloody ORANGE!

Oh yeah, commitments getting in the way when the sky's finally clear, that's nothing new lol
