Back in November 2018 the forum software was upgraded. One of the unfortunate results of the upgrade is that in many of the groups, words (such as telescope or Messier or eyepiece) that have a corresponding forum wiki entry and get automatically hyperlinked to the wiki article, cannot be used in a group post. This effectively renders most of these groups unusable.

This, along with the inability to post attachments (including images) and text formatting issues when posting from a mobile device (and a few other nitpicky things) has soured the milk considerably for many of the users of this forum.

Despite multiple requests to the admin to help fix these issues, help has not been forthcoming. It has been 9 months now.

I have sent you a PM about an alternative.
