Default Keeping track of private messages

I have a question regarding private messages. How can you tell if a private message was sent successfully? I know I have sent two messages recently, one of which was answered. However, when I looked in my private message "sent" folder, it indicates that no messages are found. Is there a way to keep track of sent messages, similar to your "sent" email folder? Thank you for any help with this.

I had this same question about a month ago. Under your settings you can check that sent messages are saved.
