    Default ETX 80 focus knob

How do you remove the focus knob on an ETX80? I found on another sight where you just pull it off. Mine wont budge and I dont want to break anything else. I have the dreaded flip mirror dismount problem.

My etx 60 is similar and there is a small grub screw that locks onto the shaft on the outer diameter. You need a small allen key(wrench). Loosen and it should pull off easily.

According to what i've read the assembly is pressed together at the factory. Is there a reason you're taking it out?
