    Sorry, english is 2nd language to me so i don't always express myself correctly.

    And I still believe that a very very high percentage of the stars we see are still up there burning hydrogen and helium right now. First, super red giants, like Betelgeuse, are rare so cant really be used as an example. The most common type of stars are brown dwarf that can live up to like 10 billion years. 100,000 years added to a star's real age is nothing and that's what i tried to say above.

    I'm not arguing here...I want to learn too :-)
