    Over 1/2 metre of rain fell in my area in the last 4 days - most of it on tuesday and wednesday.
    Took this wednesday afternoon

    We're due another 200 mm today

    4000 lens kit .Antares 6.3 focal reducer. Meade Wedge. Orion deluxe off axis guider. Orion Starshoot Autoguider.

    It's not often we see a photo of your property taken from under cover! ... 1/2 metre.. nasty.
    Is that a photographic anomaly or is there a compromise in the structural integrity of a load bearing column on your porch?

    two pics stitched I don't think the roof wold still be there otherwise - if that rain had been ice, my house would be about 2 foot high now. Flattened

    My ground is so saturated that it's holding a centimetre of rain in the surface - walking on it is like walking in the NZ highlands, it squeezes out about 1/2 pint of water
