FOR $250.00 bucks I'd buy it even it it was not new in the box...kind of hard to go really wrong at that price.... I do not think they even make the 8" one any longer however ..there was not muck of a market for any truss tube dobs under 12 inches in aperture...BUT who cares... Just my opinion... Bob G

I Hate the winter so I use heated Motorcycle clothing to stay warm while observing in winter Retired, also have 2 other hobbies 1. tinker with older Corvettes 2. make a heck of a lot of sawdust in my wood shop. |

Sounds OK, not a lot of used dobs that I see. For comparison a brand new Zhumell Z8 is $380 with 2 eyepieces and free shipping.

I think it's a good deal. And yes, size is important for telescopes.

That is a decent deal ..Meade doesn't make an 8in. DOB any longer ...A buddy of mine uses one of them on a 20in scope as a finder ..They are real nice , especially for that amount ..
