    Default light years

    Here's a poser.

I will be 70 in June and would like to identify a star which is 70 (exactly) light years away, so that I can find its name and locate it in the sky on my birthday. It will be strange to stare at an object which transmitted the light I see on the day I was born. It's not as if there is a lack of candidate stars.

But I am struggling to find enough information on stars and their distance away. Does anyone know where I can find this data ?
