Default Galaxy Log - be sure to check it out each month

Just a reminder for those that particularly like to target galaxies, remember to check out the monthly Galaxy Log video on youtube. They highlight three galaxies for scopes up to 5 inches, one for 6 to 12 inches and one for over 12 inchs. Of course that is somewhat variable based on your local observing conditions and experience. Regardless, it is another source of potential targets for the monthly dark period (around new moon). Below is a link to the June edition. Hope some find it useful.

Anytime Oliver. I should have stated more clearly that they highlight three galaxies total, one for up to 5 inch, one for 6 to 12 inches, and one for over 12 inches. Obviously that is seen in the video, but I could have said it a little better in my initial post.

Just checked out the site (and this video) on the Youtube, thanks for letting us know. I myself am a deep sky observer, with my favorite type of object being galaxies.

BTW, I did manage to pick up all 3 galaxies featured in this month's galaxy log - with reflectors ranging in aperture from 100 - 114mm (3.9" to 4.5").
