    Default Comet ISON

This photo was taken Nov 16 2013 at 5:30am in northern California with my Orion XT12i and Canon T2i. I had to stretch the image significantly as the exposure was only 1 sec in my non-tracking mount. The ISO was at "H 12800" in the Canon.

Hi Jim. This is some slick work on Comet ISON with a non tracking DOB (I have one just like yours) and a whopping high ISO. You still got a nice head and tail on your image. Thanks for sharing your capture with us, and best wishes for clear skies.

Thanks, I used my hybrid low profile focusser to achieve focus with the Canon.
