Default Got 2 Celestron orange telescopes @ auction need help!

I just won 2 Celestron telescopes at a local auction. One is marked C8 but the other one has no identification plate on it and is the reason for my posting. It measures approx. 29" long and has a 15.5" diameter. The port for the eyepiece measures approx. 2" across. I am wondering if this is a c14 or perhaps some other model?

I also need to get and eyepiece for this. Can anybody recommend what would be a good one to start out with. I can't wait to try this out. Thanks in advance Dave

wow is that the Celestron C8 or C11??? You mentioned one is a C8 the one in the picture is bigger? It seems quite big may be C11/C14?

The dimensions of the new C11 are here:C11-A XLT (CG-5) Optical Tube Assembly / Optical Tubes (OTAs) / Celestron Telescope | Computerized Telescopes | Microscopes | Binoculars | SkyScout

They should be pretty similar to the older scope dimensions.

Can you measure the tube dimensions? That will help id'ing the other scope.

let us know what models the 2 scopes are if they have IDs on them both, they look very good.

As for eyepieces I was looked at some expensive ones yesterday on the net, however some members here can recommend some good ones for a great price.

Hi The one in the photos is not the C8. The C8 has the ID tag on it but this larger one does not. It measures approx. 29" long and has a 15.5" diameter. The threaded part where the eyepiece goes is approx 2" Thank you for your help
