Default Finderscope for Celestron AstroMaster EQ 114

Can somebody recommend me good but not expensive finderscope to replace original red dot finderscope?
    I prefer infrared before optical.

    Welcome to the forum!!

I assume you mean you would prefer another red dot finder instead of an optical one?

If so, you can usually find them quite cheaply on ebay.

This will work for you - use double-sided tape to attach to OTA or drill a couple of small holes for screws. You can also find this type of red dot finder on Amazon.

I used to have the 130 version and yes the RDF is quite bad well thats what I found , any other finder will work 100% better , even the cheap RDF or the cheap optical ones , I would not spend too much on a RACI as its not needed on that scope

A Telrad will mount to almost any scope, it's base is attached to the scope tube with 2 way tape. But it is quite large and takes a lot of space on the tube. Much larger than these red dot finders.
