Smile Eyepiece for Nextstar 6se

I have 4 eyepieces for Celestron scope a Plossle 6.3 and 32,a Celestron E-Lux 25 and a Vixen 40 widefield. The quality of the Vixen is fantastic i now wish to buy a similiar quality one, not sure which though. There seems to be a multitude of types and suppliers on the market, it would be great to get advice on where to buy from, and what to buy. alfi, England.

Hi Alfi

I suppose it depends on what you regularly prefer to observe.

If you want to improve what you have, the Vixen range is very hard to beat, especially the Vixen LV and LVW series. Also highly recommended and a little better on the hip pocket are the Baader Hyperions.

To complement what you have, possibly a Vixen LV 9mm, (for mid range planetary, which is where the LV's really excel) and a Hyperion 13mm or 17mm as a good all rounder

Sorry, I am not familiar with suppliers in the UK

No, I live in the tropics, no such thing as cold LOL

Here is a link to the Vixen EP range in the UK

If you can afford the LVWs they are truly excellent EP's. Also the NLV's are well above average, and are great higher power planetary EP's
