Default Celestron Nexstar 4 5 6 or 8 Telescope?

Hey guys,
if you had a choice what would be the best scope Nexstar 4 5 6 or 8 ?

Hello, it seems the sweet spot is the 6 or 8 SE.

The 8 will be the scope of choice for those with more experience and needing more apeture (who doesnt)

If it comes down to price (living in the UK or Australia where the 8 is double the price of the 6?) Then you can get the 6 and get great views at a decent price.

From what I read based on reviews the Nexstar 4 SE and 5 SE have less sturdy mounts than the 6 / 8. let me know if this is truly the case.

I have the older 8i ... it's a keeper! Great views and very portable. Alignment is a snap and tracking is spot on, even after 5 years of work. The 6SE is a goody too, but apeture rules, oh yes.

I have the 8se, and I can tell you the views are great. Yes it costs a bit more but then you only get what you pay for. The 6 is a fine scope, but the 8 is FAR better.....
