    love the pictures - really intense.

    Does your sky in Marseilles improve with the Mistral or is it better with the Sirocco?
    I 'd guess the Sirocco would be better.

    Jenniferchristine, no the sky in marseille is very bad, both for planetary or DeepSky imaging.I never use my telescope here.The Mistral makes no improvement but make uscrazy at times ;-). The nearest place i go is Near Aix en Provence, where the little city near Picasso HAD historical castle "Vauvenargues".
    Here the sky is better to much purpose for faint nebula, so for some pictures i need to go far away home.
    My original country, where my parents born, and i live When I was young IS Britanny, but i like the Mediterranean sea and Where the weather is hot.

    Takahashi refractor TSA 120 with the Flattener / EQ6 Mount pro-goto modified / Canon 40D / CCD ATIK 314L+ with the filters LRGB-Ha Baader 7nm.
    For the guiding; Refractor Orion 80 / 400 with SSAG camera & PHD Guiding software.
    For the planetary image; DMK 21 + Powermate x4 or Barlow x2 & the filter IR-RGB.
