I was able to capture 90 second images last night after doing a "drift alignment" on the scope. Here's the results: (16 minutes, SW254N, EQ5pro, guided)

Very good image Gordon. You caught some nice detail in the Galaxy. How lomg did it take you to drift align ? What would happen if you went beyond 90 seconds with your exposures?
Well done.

Took about 1/2 hour total. (10 mins for altitude and 10 for azimuth.) Trying to use "eqalign" for this but having some issues. l was still able to do the drift align but had to do some jumping back and forth between it and stellarium for the setups.
I was really more "playing" than getting serious. I turned off the autoguiding and tried for 2 min images and got some star trails (also according the histogram it was starting to overexpose) so turned it down to 90 seconds.

Good for the short exposures Gordon . Always good to try new ways of doing things , something I am very guilty of .

Half the fun is trying things. I have some things that work and many that don't but I would have never found the things that have worked out without trying new stuff out.
Thanks again for the comments! It's what keeps me going.

Gordon, you are really progressing quickly!
How are your 90 second+ shots? Too much noise/drift?
