that's is very odd, as from my experience the amp glow is substantially repeatable and dose not vary and is very much bound to exposure time and grows exponentially pass a given point

how many frames at 400 sec show the "amp glow'' during a nights integration ?

I would email the manufacture and ask them for a dark frames sample at that given exposure time to rule out faults.

it should be very repeatable even with different cameras of the same model.

Its the on last 5 subs i took that shows the glow. the day before that i havent had any glow and that was about 15 subs.
day after i took i think 15 and its on them it started to show up.
i will test some darks and hopefully some lights tomorrow to see if the glow still are there.

OK, keep monitoring it, give that manufacturer an email, I've had a case where a cracked soldier joint yield something simular, a defect in the image

Have had some time today and shot some darks and i have checked them and there is no trace of glow anywhere so maybe it was just something that showed up on just that day.
I even tried some 600sec subs and no trace of glow on those either.
Havn´t had a clear night yet so cant take any lights to test.
Hopefully the clear nights arrive soon. Has been rainy and cloudy her for almost a week now soon so.

If the amp glow comes back, look at what the actual sensor temperature is. Not what you have it set at, but the actual temp of the sensor.

i have checked the temp on the image info and its almost the same on every sub. it fluctuate up and down aprox 0.5 c at most from each subs.
Hmm i will try lights when i get the chance again.
