    Default 120 Vs 224

Quick question. I want to upgrade my imaging camera, currently using the original Altair gp cam but want usb 3 speeds. Main interest is planets (got an old Eos for deep sky). So, speeds of the zwo 120 and 224 are similar, resolution similar, is it worth the extra £100 for lower noise and higher qe just for planets?

It really depends how serious you are about your planetary photography. A good imager can get the best out of any camera. A hack can make the best camera look like garbage. The 120 is still a great camera by any standard. The 224 is a step up.
