Well I saved up the money for the Starshoot mono but decided to get the Orion Parsec 8300M instead. I just got it.
Unfortunately, the curse of buying something new for astrophotography purposes has been set on me. It is supposed to thunderstorm here everyday for the next two weeks! Eek.

This is very useful for anyone pondering whether to choose between a mono or OSC CCD with equivalent chips.

Hi guys. I believe you are mistaking the word "drizzle" for "dither". Dithering involves the movement of the scope a small amount during image acquisition. Drizzle is an image stacking option that allows you to increase the effective size of the image. If anyone else cares to elaborate on these points, feel free.
