Hey, Guys. One of my SCTs is an early, one motor orange tube C8. It tracks good, but there is quite a bit of play in the RA axis. I have read that you remove that by moving the motor closer to the gear. But, it is also said that if you get it too close, it won't track correctly. Is this something you have to do by trial and error, or is there a secret to doing it right the first time?

I have been all through these scopes, so I know how to get to everything.

Thanks.
Dean
