It is quite difficult to find a Klevtsov or Rutten design unless you find a smaller optical house that specializes.
Skywatcher has not released anymore information on the Rutten that they were showing at various EU astro shows.
    Refractors: Antares 105 f/15, Celestron 150 f/8, Stellarvue NHNG 80 f/6.9, TAL 100RS f/10, TS 102 f/11, UR 70 f/10, Vixen SD115s f/7.7

The weakest link in the optical chain is the large nut located directly behind the eyepiece/ camera. - Gabrielle
Ya gotta keep this Apo/Achro thing in some balance of perspective. Apos are awesome, but long focus Achros aren't that far behind them - Siriusandthepup (CN)
Refractors kick arse precisely because they don't hide behind excuses. That is, they have no obstructions to hide behind. - Jon Isaacs (CN)

It’s a shame. The Rutten design is the next best thing to an apo.

No question about that, even for visual.

The cheaper 8 inch Vixen modified Cass was not optically impressive.
If you want an 8 Cass that will optically knock your socks off try the Takahashi cn212mm. Was real close to a Zambuto equipped 10 inch dob on the planet's.
    Newtman but some refractors allowed.
