    Hi all,
I'm Max. I live at Sun Peaks, BC. It's 4.5 hours NE of Vancouver and 45 minutes NE of Kamloops. A large ski resort, small village.
I currently have a Nexstar 4SE but yearn for more apperture. Skies are nice and dark here and I just know that an 8, 10, 12 ... incher will just blow me away. Sadly it will blow my pay check away too! Scraping those pennies together...

My name is Erich Keser, and I live on an acreage just south of Saskatoon. I finally became an active observer after a teen fascination with reading about astronomy, but living in downtown Toronto when we moved to Sudbury in 1991, because of the dark skies, Science North, and desire to inspire our 1-year old daughter. Was very active with SN and the Sudbury Astronomy Club 1991--1994 and helped to get new observing site going. Moved to saskatoon in 1994 and became active with the RASC, newsletter editor, VP, then prexy, and helped to found the Saskatchewan Summer Star Party. Would like to get somewhat, but not crazy-active, again.

    Hello All

My names is David, I`m a Canadian veteran, i served 24+ years, retired 6 years ago. Still working for the Government and double dipping !!
I have two kids, a 17year old son & 12 year old daughter and a very handsome Australian Sheppard named Sherlock. Oh... yah and a wife lol

Just became interest is Astro Photography after watching Astrobackyard for about a year. So I put together my 1st rig based around the William optics Redcat 51mm, DSLR, Sky-guider Pro with a William optics Base.
I have my Skyguider on an Ioptron 1.75" tripod for a solid base.
Santa brought me a ZWO ASI120mm-S & Mini guide scope. Thanks Santa.!!!
And just the other day i was looking on "Canada Astronomy Buy&Sell" , not looking for anything in particular but now i have a never used Ioptron CEM25-EC & hard-case in the mail from Nova Scotia. The tripod i have will also fit the CEM25EC. I paid $1700 CDN !!!! I could not resist @ that price.

I live in the Ottawa Valley, so if there are any Astro Photographer`s near me, i could use a mentor.

    CHEERS
    David
