Default Anyone make a purchase from Brandon optical in Burnaby?

Just wondering if anyone's has made a purchase from Brandon optical in Burnaby BC? Been checking prices for a celestron avx mount and they seem to be the cheapest price I can find so far but I can't find much on purchase experiences.

I have not purchased from them, but I live near by and have been trying to get a hold of them but they never answer their phone. I think it is a retail store and online but not totally sure...

Yeah from what it seems they might have a physical location but from reading on their website it states that it is by appointment only. Might be mostly online sales but with local pickup options if you live in the area?

I make a habit of tossing the address into Google Map & getting whatever views I can. Doesn't give you the whole story, of course, but provides 'some' insight.

Doesn't provide much of an answer re Brandon Optical ... or any answer.

A lot of big, impressive websites are attached to non-descript addresses/locations or small stores. In this day & age, the only way to pay for on-line purchases

[maybe in-store too] is with a major credit card or PayPal so that you have Buyer Protection. Caveat Emptor !

That address listed in the contact info is none other than the Chinese ethnic mall -- The Crystal Mall in Burnaby. However, the Crystal Mall Web site does not list Brandon Optics as a tenant. I guess it is possible that, to keep costs down, business is done through one of the stores in the mall (for pickups and returns) so they can save up all the store rent, staffing and other overheads required to run brick and mortar.

I recommend against using Brandon Optics. I bought an item, but it was defective. After countless emails and phonecalls, I finally arranged a return. they charged a 20% restocking fee. ridiculous. they stipulate this on their website in the smallprint, but still, ridiculous.
