I've been having serious problems getting everything to align/track properly. Eventually I traced the root cause to a balance problem. Basically, with the Samsung camera on the N6SE I couldn't get the scope to balance properly in RA. The setup is far too camera-heavy. I tried to locate some counterbalance weights for the N6SE but they have been out of stock in the UK for months. In desperation I ordered an ADM dual saddle (vixen/losmandy) replacement for the saddle/puck on the HEQ5.
Still cloudy here. Installed new wall clock and walkie-talkie to house from AstroShed so I can order espresso (only joking!).
Play & Charge kit for the Xbox controller has arrived so I can try that tonight to see if it cures the "10 minute disconnect" problem.
The shed survived its first medium strngth downpour last night and I'm mightily relieved that it is waterproof.

I've built a wooden tripod dolly (a T-shape) with large locking industrial wheels that my HEQ5 Pro is strapped to. I can wheel this in and out of
Nothing to report yet - I'm all ready to go with testing the SCB-4000 but the clouds have been solid for the last 2 months :-(
I've just ordered a Meade series 4000 F3.3 focal reducer to use exclusively with the SCB-4000... this should give me another "stop" of light to play with which is equivalent to doubling the integration time (over the 6.3 I already have for DSLR AP).
The forecast for tomorrow looks "not too bad" so I will have to wait and see (or
